About our Coaching Framework
Using the FIREUP framework, developed by FIREUP Coaching, your coaching program will be customised according to your unique circumstances.
Drawing from a range of tools and techniques, the client’s goals, values and needs are explored and clarified.
Each coaching session will be conducted using the REACH model, where the coach and client explore and clarify goals of the client and set achievable objectives and actions.
What we offer
Personal & Career Coaching Programs
A three to six-month tailored program, consisting of monthly one-hour coaching sessions, in person or remote video call.
Each session will be conducted using the REACH model, where the coach and client explore and clarify goals of the client and set achievable objectives and actions.
A holistic approach is taken to identify core values and beliefs. The coach will employ powerful empathic questions to identify issues, self-limiting behaviours and opportunity areas.
For career coaching, personalised support with resume, LinkedIn profiles, job application processes and interview techniques can be provided as required.
Executive, Management & Corporate Coaching Programs
On-premises coaching sessions designed for you and/or your team members to align your corporate and team goals with individuals’ unique strengths and identify development areas.
While the program can be customised, it generally consists of:
- Management consultation and planning
- ½ day team briefing day
- Individual coaching sessions
- Concluding team building & strategy session (on-site or off-site)
Individual and team diagnostic tools, such as HBDI, LSI or Facet5 Teamscape can be applied depending on circumstance.
IT Competency Assessments & Framework
Utilising the Skills for the Information Age (SFIA) framework, individual and team skills and knowledge diagnostics are undertaken. Job role profiles and levelling are created or reviewed and used in conjunction with the team profiles to optimise team structures and/or create generic or personalised development plans and career progression frameworks.
IT Strategy & Solution Consulting
On an individual assignment basis, or as part of a strategic assessment team, DSCC can provide focused application portfolio assessment, IT cost modelling, vendor and product assessment and strategic planning. Drawing extensive experience and various modelling and presentation formats, targeted assessments for the most complex through to the smaller technology footprints can draw insight for strategic investment or cost saving initiatives.

Darren is a highly experienced technology professional who has worked across a breadth of strategy development and project implementations in complex transformational environments.
Darren is known for delivering pragmatic solutions by critically analysing situations, developing effective plans and leading teams to deliver outcomes.
Most of his career has been in many and varied roles at a global financial institution, ANZ Banking Group Ltd. Most roles involved leadership and stakeholder management in the Technology function. Darren has spent many years developing and implementing strategies and solutions for both corporate and retail banking and finance businesses.
Darren has led technology teams to acquire and divest businesses and acquired and modernised his own retail/wholesale sporting goods business.
Darren’s volunteer work as Event and Fundraising Campaign Manager at REAVI-Baho involved setting up and running a successful crowdfunding and marketing campaign and fundraising event. Darren continued his work volunteering as a Community Leader for crowdfunding platform Chuffed, where has facilitated workshops for social causes to train them on how to maximise their fundraising activities.
